BTIM again awarded Best Fund Manager
BT Investment Management (BTIM) has been awarded ‘Best Fund Manager’ in Money magazine’s Best of the Best awards 2017. BTIM has now won Best Fund Manager in three of the past four years (2017, 2016 and 2014). Now in its 16th year, the Best of the Best awards for all managed funds are prepared with the expert assistance of research houses Zenith, Morningstar, Lonsec and SQM Research. The Best Fund Manager winner was chosen by allocating points based on individual managed fund and ETF categories. Fund managers were awarded five points for every gold win, three points for every second place and one point for third. Michael Bargholz, Chief Executive Officer of BTIM Australia said the award is a credit to the deep experience of our investment teams. “We’re especially proud to come out on top again given it’s prepared by Australia’s pre-eminent research houses based on broad assessment criteria and across different asset classes.”
BTIM was also awarded the gold medal position in the ‘Best Property Securities Fund’ sector for the BT Wholesale Property Securities Fund. This follows on from BTIM winning the same award for 2016.
Michael Bargholz: “It’s satisfying to win again in a very competitive sector. Our portfolio managers Peter Davidson and Julia Forrest together have over 50 years industry experience and continue to deliver for clients.”
